Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 August 2026 · Short, because we collect very little.

1. What we collect

• What you type into the bid form: your name/brand, logo image, link, optional one-liner, email address, and bid amount.
• Payment details: none. Checkout happens entirely with Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. Your card, wallet, or UPI details go to them directly — we never see or store them. Their privacy policy covers that part.
• Basic technical logs kept by our hosting provider (Vercel) for security and uptime.

2. What's public by design

The product is public display. Your name, logo, one-liner, link, and bid amount are shown on the homepage and leaderboard for anyone to see — that's what you paid for. Your email address is never displayed, never shared publicly, and never sold.

3. What we use your email for

• Telling you when someone outbids you.
• Service messages about your placement or payment.

That's it. No marketing without asking you first, no selling, no "partners".

4. Where your data lives

Bid data is stored in a hosted database (Supabase). The site runs on Vercel. Payments and receipts live with Dodo Payments. We keep bid records for as long as they're displayed on the site, plus whatever payment records we're legally required to retain.

5. Cookies and third parties

• We use the browser's local storage for functional things only — remembering an in-progress bid — never for ad tracking.
• The background music is a YouTube embed; YouTube/Google may set their own cookies when it loads.
• Fonts load from Google Fonts.
• We may use privacy-respecting analytics (PostHog) to count visits and see which buttons get pressed.

6. Your rights

Want your placement, logo, email, or all of it removed? Email us and we'll delete it. You can also ask what data we hold about you (the honest answer: what's in section 1). Removal of a placement you paid for doesn't automatically come with a refund — see the Refund Policy — but the deletion itself is immediate and unconditional.

7. Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
